Historian Robert Hicks speaks to the group on Friday evening

The Grand Review began with a history talk by noted author and historian, and Franklin resident, Robert Hicks.
From October 12-14, 2018, Color Bearers gathered in Franklin, Tennessee, for our annual Grand Review — an exciting weekend of history and camaraderie. The weekend kicked off with a history talk by noted author and historian Robert Hicks, followed by a welcome reception on Friday. Guests chose between full-day Battle of Nashville and Battle of Franklin tours on Saturday, finishing the day with a beautiful evening reception and dinner banquet at Historic Carnton. On Sunday, Jim Lighthizer held a Breakfast Q&A, before guests departed for their final half-day tours.
The Trust would like to say "thank you" to everyone who attended this year's Grand Review, and would especially like to recognize the many first time attendees. Next year's Grand Review will be held in Boston, Massachusetts, from October 18-20, 2019. The Grand Review is an invitation-only event, open to all Brigade, Division, Corps, and National Color Bearers.
